Our Mission

The Black Student Union at the University of California, San Diego was founded in 1967 by a group of undergraduate Black scholars. The Black Student Union has always been a revolutionary organization with an emphasis on the political, social and academic issues that Black students and Black people face. Since its establishment, Black Student Union has worked to uphold a rich legacy of lifting as we climb.
